Your views are essential for the future of Furniture Apprenticeships

A group of Furniture employers working on behalf of the sector have now reviewed a number of Furniture Apprenticeships.  

We are calling for the furniture sector and key stakeholders to get involved and to have their say on the essential knowledge, skills and behaviours that Apprentices should display on completion of their Apprenticeship.

The group have now developed the following standards (click to download):

·        Level 3 Furniture Restorer

·        Level 2 Fitted Interiors Installer

·        Level 2 Wood Machinist

·        Level 2 Furniture and Wood Finisher

It is essential that we get the content right for these standards as these will form the development programmes for Apprentices in the future.  The employer group urges you to view the standards developed and carefully consider what you as an employer would expect to see from your apprentices.
