Diploma in Manufacturing (Knowledge and Skills)

This qualification is a mandated requirement of the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard (ST0420). Achievement is mandatory before commencing end-point assessment. This qualification can also be used by learners, other than apprentices, who need the knowledge and skills to progress into employment and/or further training.

Diploma in Wood Machining

This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and practical skills in wood machining. The qualification supports career progression, skills required for employment or further study. The qualification is published on the Register of Qualifications, 603/7656/9 and is regulated by Ofqual.

Diploma in Furniture, Furnishings and Interiors

This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and skills required for employment, apprenticeships or further study. The qualification supports career progression in selected areas including making, industry multi-skills, finishing or restoring furniture; making soft furnishings or upholstery; machining wood or fitting interiors such as kitchens and offices. The qualification is published on the Register of Qualifications, 603/7575/9 and is regulated by Ofqual.
