Advanced Furniture CNC Technician

This apprenticeship has been designed for those that produce and assemble bespoke pieces of furniture to meet individual customers’ requirements.

Advanced Upholsterer

This apprenticeship has been designed for those that make and repair upholstered furniture using modern or traditional methods.

Bespoke Furniture Maker

This apprenticeship has been designed for those that produce and assemble bespoke pieces of furniture to meet individual customers’ requirements.

Fitted Furniture Design Technician

This apprenticeship standard includes fitted kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, car interiors, boats and ships. In addition technician’s are often required to work on bespoke one-off commercial developments.

Fitted Interiors Installer

This exciting standard has been developed by industry for industry to develop the next generation of Fitted Interiors Installers.

Furniture Finisher

This standards replaces the Finisher pathway of the Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship standard

Furniture Making Operative

This new apprenticeship standard replaces the General Furniture Manufacturer pathway in the Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture Manufacturer

The apprenticeship has been designed to develop core skills, knowledge and behaviours relevant to the furniture industry whilst developing occupational skills and knowledge.

Furniture Restorer

This standards replaces the Restorer pathway of the Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship standard. Note this standard has moved to Level 3.

New Furniture Product Developer

This apprenticeship has been designed for those that develop new furniture products or improve existing furniture products used in residential, office or commercial settings.

Wood Product Manufacturing Operative

The apprenticeship has been designed for those in the manufacturing sector, producing wood products for the construction and furniture industries.
