We are searching for experienced industry experts to become freelance contracted Independent Assessors to support our existing team with our expanding demand. We need assessors across England in the following areas:

• Furniture, carpentry and joinery
• Trade Supplier
• Lean manufacturing and improvement
• Warehousing

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in carrying out the assessments and have a passion for developing the next generation, we will even pay you and cover your expenses.

What is end-point assessment?

Apprenticeships now include end-point assessments at the end of the apprenticeship.  End-point assessment (EPA) tests the knowledge, skills and behaviours that the apprentice has gained during their training.  The EPA is not a qualification, but an independent assessment of the standard of work and competence in the job role. EPA is conducted by an independent, experienced, and qualified third-party assessor who has not been involved in the apprentices training. They will determine whether they meet the criteria established in the standard that they have been working towards.

Support we offer

• We provide introductory training sessions for all our new Independent Assessors, giving you the structure, policy and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• You do not need any assessment experience we will help you with that.
• We provide on-going help and support to all our independent assessors with updates, webinars and briefings. This will keep you up to date with quality assurance and end-point assessment requirements.
• As an Independent Assessor, you will be contracted on an annual basis although it won’t be possible to guarantee set amounts of work.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills as an end-point assessor and to provide an important contribution to the delivery of quality apprenticeships for this sector.
