Developing industry experts into assessors

We are searching for experienced industry experts to become freelance contracted Independent Assessors for the Trade Supplier and Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Standard.

We would love to hear from you if you have 10 days or more per year to carry out the assessments and a passion for developing the next generation, we will even pay you and cover your expenses.

What is end-point assessment?

Apprenticeships now include end-point assessments at the end of the apprenticeship.  End-point assessment (EPA) tests the knowledge, skills and behaviours that the apprentice has gained during their training.  The EPA is not a qualification, but an independent assessment of the standard of work and competence in the job role. EPA is conducted by an independent, experienced, and qualified third-party assessor who has not been involved in the apprentices training. They will determine whether they meet the criteria established in the standard that they have been working towards.

Support we offer

This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills as an end-point assessor and to provide an important contribution to the delivery of quality apprenticeships for this sector.

Please download the person specification and application form.

If you would like to discuss the role please contact us.

Achieve+Partners have agreed flexibilities with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) and the External Quality Assurance Organisation so EPA can continue for the Furniture Manufacturer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Providers and employers can now apply to use these flexibilites where a delay to end-point assessment would cause hardship to the apprentice.

This means in most cases that EPA can be conducted remotely. Please contact us for more information.

Functional Skills flexibilities

The IfATE have published a new temporary flexibility that will enable apprentices to take end point assessment (EPA) ahead of receiving their calculated functional skills qualifications (FSQ) later on in the summer.

This will apply to:
